Deadlines

Wadsworth Golf Charities Foundation accepts and reviews applications twice a year.

  • 1st Deadline
    The first deadline date is April 1st.
  • 2nd Deadline
    The second deadline date is October 1st.
  • Only one application per organization may be submitted within any calendar year.

All grant requests should be mailed to:

Application/Required Documents

  • Before applying for a grant, carefully read the Categories of Program Support and Facility Development to determine whether your organization is eligible to apply.
  • Wadsworth Golf Charities Foundation is restricted to making grants to 501(c)3 organizations.
  • Grant requests arriving via electronic e-mail or fax will not be given consideration.
  • The Application/Support Documents
    • The Grant Request - should be no longer than two typewritten pages and should include a general description of the organization and what the grant will be used for and who is the target audience.
    • Include the following -
      • Copy of the Internal Revenue Service's 501(c)3 nonprofit status letter.
      • Copy of the last year's financial statements.
      • List of other grants or funding your foundation has received and what organizations made the grants.
    • Support Material - may be provided within reason, however, the funding grant decision will be based on the contents of the two page grant request.

Review Process

  • The organizations that have received a contribution from the Wadsworth Golf Charities Foundation will be requested to submit an annual Responsibility Report which will contain their respective activity and progress for the year.
  • The Responsibility Report will be mailed to Richard W. Slagle, Executive Director. These reports will serve as an evaluation process of the annual grant requests submitted to the Foundation.
