Our Need

Wadsworth Golf Charities Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable foundation. Since its birth in 1997, the principal funders of the Foundation have been Brent and Jean Wadsworth. Now that Brent and Jean are nearing retirement age, it’s important that the accomplishments of the Foundation be carried forward into the future.

To ensure that the Foundation’s Mission will be perpetuated through grants and contributions to make golf and the character-building attributes of the game more accessible to more people, with the ultimate goal of helping the world become a more honorable, gentler and friendlier place, we need your help. Below are several ways you, your organization or foundation may help the Wadsworth Golf Charities Foundation.

Tax Deductible Gifts

• Pledges of cash support to meet the Foundation’s annual distribution needs for Programs or Facility Development.
• Memorial gifts that provide a lasting remembrance of family and friends.
• Bequests that ensure funds to meet the Wadsworth Golf Charities Foundation future needs in providing “Golf’s never ending learning experience by allowing more of society to experience its lush, wind-swept classroom.”
• Wadsworth Golf Charities Endowment Fund
  Your contribution can be directed in several ways:

  1. Boys and Girls Clubs and Golf Programs that benefit all age groups.

  2. Facility Development
  This area focuses on establishing joint partnerships with a community, hospital, park district, school district or foundation to create recreation space for the betterment of individuals, community and society.
